What we do
Information Management Association (IMA) is a student union for all IT-business students at Aarhus University, BSS. Our goal is to create a closer link between the students and the corporate world by arranging exciting events. At these events, IMA student members can network with relevant companies, hear about their possibilities and challenges, future job positions and gain valuable knowledge about the life outside of campus. In other words, IMA strives to connect students of the university with the business community.
The union therefore seeks to:

Find and organize professional and social events and material for the members.

Promote the IT study programmes: MSc. Digital Business Management (DBM) and Cand.it (ITKO) at Aarhus University, Business and Social Sciences. Both internally in the school and work groups as well as externally to the corporate world and the surrounding community in general.

Maintain and develop the relationship between MSc. Digital Business Management (DBM) and Cand.it (ITKO).

Develop and improve the combination of courses for students at MSc. Digital Business Management and Cand.it (ITKO).

Communicate information within the union as well as between unions, lectures, tutors, influential bodies and institutions within Aarhus University, Business and Social Sciences and the corporate world.
Everyone who are either studying, has a degree in or is teaching at MSc. Digital Business Management or Cand.it (ITKO) at Aarhus University, Business and Social Science, are automatically granted membership.
Students who are not mentioned above will achieve membership by enrolling at IMAs Facebook Member Forum, “IMA Member Forum”. IMA charges no membership fee.
